Souvik Roy is a seasoned product manager and design engineer with experience in leading product development in high-tech companies. Souvik held the position of Product Management MBA Intern at Google from June to August 2021 before transitioning to a Product Manager role at Google in July 2022, focusing on algorithmic and UX improvements for Gboard. Prior to this, Souvik worked at Apple from January 2014 to October 2020 as a Product Design Engineer, where Souvik led design research for input devices and developed methods to enhance product performance. Souvik's educational background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
