Stan Doherty is a retired Senior Technical Writing Manager who previously worked at Google Inc. and lives south of Boston, MA. They were a founding member of the OASIS DITA Technical Committee and served as secretary for its Adoption Technical Committee. With extensive experience in managing technical documentation teams at companies like HPE/SimpliVity, Akamai Technologies, and Sun Microsystems, Stan has focused on DITA-based solutions and modular content development. They hold a BA in English and Philosophy from Merrimack College and a PhD in English Language and Literature from Harvard University.
