Stefan Schmidt

Stefan Schmidt is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in software architecture and site reliability engineering. Beginning as a co-founder and software architect at exolution GmbH from 1999 to 2001, Stefan transitioned to an IT consultant role at UB Schmidt from 2001 to 2007, followed by a position as a software architect at Faktor Zehn from 2007 to 2010. Stefan then joined Google, where roles included Site Reliability Engineer and later Site Reliability Engineering Manager, serving from 2011 to 2022. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management and a Diplom in Computer Science from Technische Universität München.
