Stephanie Debats is currently a Staff Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Google. Prior to joining Google in 2021, they worked as a Senior Autonomy Engineer at Aurora and Uber, a Computer Vision Research Scientist at Descartes Labs, and as a PhD Researcher at Princeton University. They also gained experience as a Graduate Researcher at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and as a Design Engineer at CDM Smith. Stephanie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Princeton University, along with a Master of Arts and a Master of Science in the same field, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from UCLA.
