Stephen Pfohl

Stephen Pfohl is a Senior Research Scientist at Google, specializing in the fairness, robustness, and transparent evaluation of machine learning systems for clinical decision-making. They earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University, where they were advised by Nigam Shah and also served as a Teaching Assistant. Prior to their current role, Stephen gained experience as a Research Intern at Google and worked as a Data Science Intern at DecisionQ Corp. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
