Stephen Stuart

Stephen Stuart has extensive experience in engineering and technology, primarily in network architecture and management. Notable positions include Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer at MIBH, and roles at Metromedia Fiber Network and Switch & Data, where guidance was provided for internet exchange points. At Google, Inc., Stephen has served as a Distinguished Engineer since October 2003, leading the architecture and engineering of the Corporate Network and managing multiple networking teams. Earlier career experiences include significant contributions at Digital Equipment Corporation, where Stephen co-founded the Palo Alto Internet Exchange and developed pioneering digital ad insertion systems for cable television. Stephen holds a BA in Computer Science from Colgate University, with a minor in Physics.
