Steve Diamond possesses extensive experience in hardware engineering and embedded systems, having served as VP of Hardware Engineering at Fossil Group, Inc. following the Misfit Wearables acquisition from March 2012 to January 2019. Prior to this role, Steve held positions at AgaMatrix, Inc. as a Senior Engineer in R&D, and at the Dobelle Institute as an Engineer focusing on vision prosthesis for the blind. Additional experience includes technical contributions at Atieva Inc (now Lucid Motors), senior firmware engineering at Volkswagen Group, and founding Motiv Power Systems as an Embedded Systems Lead. Steve's recent roles at Google include Tech Lead for Pixel Watch/WearOS and currently serving as Director of Pixel Watch & Fitbit Device Software since October 2024. Steve is a graduate of Columbia University with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering.
