Steve Ries has extensive experience in database administration, particularly with Oracle technologies, spanning over two decades. Beginning as an Oracle DBA Consultant at Midwest Consulting Group from 1997 to 2003, Steve has held several roles, including Oracle DBA at various companies such as VML and Keane Consulting, and has served as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator at Computer Sciences Corporation from 2006 to January 2015. Additionally, Steve worked as an Oracle Instructor at Johnson County Community College until February 2015. After a role as an Enterprise Cloud Architect and Principal Sales Consultant at Oracle from March 2017 to September 2018, Steve joined Burns & McDonnell as a Database Administrator before transitioning to Google in June 2021 as a Cloud Engineer.
