Steven Ma is an accomplished UX professional with extensive experience across various prominent companies, including Google, Amazon Web Services, IBM, and Pure Storage. Steven began as a Sales Associate at The Mas Publications Ltd, emphasizing a strong customer focus, and later transitioned into UX roles, significantly impacting user experience and design across multiple platforms. As a Senior Product Designer at AWS and Head of Product UX at Pure Storage, Steven led teams in developing innovative solutions and implementing user-centric design processes. Currently, as a Staff UX Lead and Manager at Google, Steven oversees a diverse team of designers, driving growth and adoption for Intelligence products. In addition, Steven serves as a UX Consultant and Instructor at Steven Ma Designs, sharing industry knowledge and mentoring aspiring UX designers. Steven holds a Master of Applied Science in Human Computer Interaction and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.
