Steven Browne

Steven Browne is a Software Engineer at Google since February 2023, previously serving as a Software Engineer at Akkio from September 2020 to January 2023. With a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Steven has diverse experience in engineering roles. Notable projects include designing a wrist-worn device for firefighters at FireSense, managing mechanical design and thermal analysis projects at Welbilt Inc., and conducting research internships at the Whitehead Institute and MIT. Additionally, Steven played a key role as Treasurer for the student group Clowns@MIT, managing finances and organizing fundraisers.
