Sudarshan Rangaraj

Sudarshan Rangaraj, Ph.D., is an engineering director currently leading reliability engineering for the Nest and Fitbit product families at Google. With extensive experience in hardware design and product reliability, they previously held significant roles at Amazon and Intel, where they developed and managed cross-functional engineering teams. Sudarshan's background includes managing the hardware and firmware engineering for Amazon Glow and contributing to semiconductor packaging and quality at Intel. They hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, along with a Master's degree from Washington State University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Mumbai - VJTI.
