Summer Cort

Summer Cort is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security engineering and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Google, Summer oversees incident response for high-priority alerts and develops automated playbooks to enhance alert handling. Prior to this role, Summer held positions at Mandiant, where responsibilities included investigating escalated security incidents and leading incident response efforts, as well as at TEKsystems, focusing on incident response support. Additional experience includes IT security engineering at HMSHost, security analysis, and various roles in IT coordination and finance. Summer holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology and a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland.
