Suraj Naik

Suraj Naik is a Software Engineer with over six years of experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems, currently working at Google Cloud on the Cloud Dataproc team. Suraj focuses on developing a high-performance native query engine stack utilizing technologies such as Apache Spark and Facebook Velox. Previously, Suraj held positions at Microsoft, enhancing Spark SQL performance and contributing to Azure HDInsight, while also gaining experience at Couchbase in distributed database systems. Suraj enjoys tackling infrastructure challenges and engaging with the open-source community.
