Susan Chung

Susan Chung is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and journalism. As the founder and Executive Director of The Digital Moose Lounge, Susan successfully built a Canadian expatriate community in San Jose, attracting over 1,000 members in the first year. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Reporter for Times Colonist, where contributions to coverage of high-profile stories received accolades, and overseeing editorial operations as Bureau Chief for Thomson Newspapers in both Washington, D.C. and Toronto. Susan has held various positions, including Administrative Business Partner and currently Executive Business Partner at Google, as well as Editor In Chief and Communications Manager at Beth Am Congregation. Educational achievements include degrees from institutions such as the University of Saskatchewan and Ryerson University, along with specialized courses in media management and technical writing.
