Swaran Iyappan has a solid background in software development and engineering, with internship experiences that include roles at NFN Labs as a Software Developer Intern in late 2020, and at LOCOMeX, Inc. as a Software Engineer Intern in summer 2024. Additionally, Swaran has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at New York University for multiple sections of the Design and Analysis of Algorithms course from January to May 2024. Prior training includes a Project Trainee position at Zoho Corporation during mid-2021. Swaran is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Google since October 2025 after a stint as a Software Engineer III at Walmart from June to October 2025. Swaran holds a High School diploma in Computer Science from Chettinad Vidyashram, a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at New York University.
