Tan Peng

Tan (Thomas) Peng is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Google since September 2024, Tan has previously held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Amazon from September 2022 to September 2024, overseeing engineering teams across the US and Europe. Tan's career at AMD spanned a decade, where progression from MTS to Director of Software Engineering included founding and managing the Platform Secure Processor Firmware Engineering teams. Earlier roles include serving as Software Engineering Team Lead at ViXS Systems Inc. and as a Research Assistant at Tsinghua University's State Key Laboratory of Microwave and Digital Communication. Tan holds a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors from Sun Yat-Sen University.
