Tao Lei has extensive experience in the field of natural language processing and research, having held various positions at leading technology companies. Tao Lei began as a Research Intern at Microsoft Research Asia in 2009 and went on to intern at Facebook in 2016. From September 2018 to July 2021, Tao Lei served as Vice President and Lead Research Scientist at ASAPP. Currently, Tao Lei is a Research Scientist at Google since August 2021. Academically, Tao Lei earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Peking University, followed by a Master's degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
