Tao Lin

Tao Lin is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing high-performance systems at leading technology companies. Currently at Google since November 2018, Tao has contributed to significant projects such as Arcus, the control plane for Google Compute Engine, and Tango, a cache invalidation infrastructure serving billions of notifications daily across various applications. Prior experience includes a role at Microsoft, where Tao developed a mailbox data repair engine for Outlook, and internships at Max2 Inc., Amazon, Oracle, and Intel, focused on various engineering and development tasks. Tao holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
