Tara Ellis Magee

Tara Ellis Magee is a skilled designer with a strong background in color and materials design. Tara began a professional career at Nike as a Color Designer I for Nike Basketball Apparel before advancing to Color Designer II. In 2018, Tara joined General Motors as a Color and Trim Designer, serving until 2021. Currently, Tara holds the position of CMF Designer at Google since June 2021. Academically, Tara earned a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Michigan, followed by an MFA in Color and Materials Design from the College for Creative Studies. Additionally, Tara completed a Fashion/Apparel Design program at Central Saint Martins in 2012.
