Tarun Gumar is a seasoned product management professional with a focus on technology and innovation. Currently serving as the Lead Product Manager at Google Cloud since May 2022, Tarun is involved in developing AI-driven Cloud Security products to enhance customer protection in cloud environments. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Product Manager at Shopify, where Tarun excelled in B2B software problem-solving, and a successful tenure at Loblaw Digital as Product Manager, leading the launch of a Marketplace for Canada’s largest grocery retailer. As Co-founder and Product Head of Weddingz.in, Tarun was instrumental in creating a leading consumer discovery platform in India. Additionally, experience at Airtel included leading the development of a self-service telecom app while contributing to product vision and data-driven insights. Tarun holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
