Tawanda Mashavave is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and technology management. Tawanda began a career at Goldman Sachs as a Software Engineer from June 2010 to August 2012, focusing on software solutions for FX and Commodities trade processing. Tawanda then joined Google, starting as a Technical Solutions Consultant from August 2012 to August 2014 and later progressing to various leadership roles, including Staff Technology Manager and Head of Major Music Labels Partner Engineering for YouTube until May 2022. Prior to these roles, Tawanda worked at Sirius Software as a Software Engineer, where design work included creating classes in IBM Basic Assembly Language. Tawanda holds a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hamilton College and graduated from Kutama College in 2005.
