Ted Xie

Software Engineer

Ted Xie is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in FPGA acceleration and embedded systems. At Falcon Computing Solutions, Inc, Ted developed FPGA accelerator architectures using the Merlin high-level synthesis compiler, significantly enhancing productivity and performance. Previous roles include a notable internship at Inova Solutions, where extensive contributions were made to the OnTime Clock v2 software architecture, and a position at Arm focused on developing an internal configuration management tool. As a research assistant at the University of Virginia, Ted worked on FPGA accelerator system design and received the "Outstanding Teaching Assistant" award. Ted further advanced skills in high-level synthesis design engineering at Google, leading the development of video codec silicon products, and currently maintains open-source projects for Bazel and Bazel Android rules. Ted holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia.
