Thanh Phan

Thanh (Xavier) Phan is a Senior Software Engineer at Google, where they lead a small team within the Pixel Watch Algorithm Framework. With a strong background in embedded systems, Thanh has previously held roles as a Sr. Firmware Engineer at both Misfit Wearables and Fossil Group, and as Lead Research and Development at Freelux, contributing to various product developments including smart plugs and GPS trackers. Thanh holds a BS in Mechatronics from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and has expertise in low to ultra-low power microcontrollers, audio codecs, and graphical user interfaces.
