Tiancheng Sun

Tiancheng Sun is a Research Scientist at Google, a position held since September 2021, after previously serving as a Research Intern at Google focusing on portrait relighting and light-stage super-resolution. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Intern at Facebook, working on hair inverse rendering, and multiple research internships at Universidad de Zaragoza, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, and 旷视MEGVII, where Tiancheng Sun conducted research on 3D reconstruction, BRDF gamut mapping, and image deconvolution. Tiancheng Sun holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of California San Diego and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, alongside experience as a Technical Lead at Phantouch Technology, where management of a development group for pose detection for virtual-reality devices was executed.
