Tiane Lee

Tiane Lee is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in user experience (UX) and psychology. Tiane held positions at Princeton University as a Doctoral Researcher from 2004 to 2010, where original research and analysis were conducted across 30+ studies involving over 3,000 participants from the US, China, and Japan. Subsequent roles at PARC and the University of Maryland involved conducting user experience studies and managing cross-cultural research initiatives. Tiane spent significant time at Google from 2015 to 2023, where responsibilities included leading UX research for small businesses, spearheading monetization efforts for the Next Billion Users initiative, and overseeing a distributed team of UX researchers across multiple geographies. Tiane's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Psychology and Social Policy from Princeton University, a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from Stanford University, and a study abroad program at Oxford University.
