Tianyu Geng has extensive experience in software engineering, beginning with an SDE internship at Amazon in 2013. Following this, Tianyu joined Google in October 2014, where work focused on XLA, the machine learning compiler and toolings, continuing until May 2022. In May 2022, Tianyu transitioned to Pinterest as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in building systems using Java language and runtime, and remains with Pinterest until March 2025. After this period, Tianyu returned to Google in March 2025, resuming work on the XLA project as a Senior Software Engineer.
