Tim Auer

Tim Auer is a professional with a substantial background in electrical engineering and telecommunications. Starting as a Research Intern at The XYZs of GPS, Tim conducted research on error correcting codes for GPS satellite communications. Subsequent experience includes roles as an Engineering Intern at Thales Communications and as an Engineering Co-op at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where contributions were made to the International Space Station. Tim's tenure as a Software Engineer at Giesecke & Devrient involved vital participation in large-scale LTE deployments and direct collaboration with industry vendors. As a Technical Project Manager, responsibilities included managing SIM and eSIM projects while providing technical support. Presently, Tim serves as a Senior Technical Solutions Engineer at Google, specializing in Fi Connectivity and telecommunications technologies. Tim holds both a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park.
