Tim Dierks is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and management roles. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Google since November 2014, Tim oversees efforts in building secure and reliable cloud solutions, focusing on compliance and sovereignty for global customers. In addition to this role, Tim has contributed as a board member for multiple organizations, including SecureRF Corporation and Montessori Day School of Brooklyn, and has provided advisory support to various startups. Previously, Tim held positions at the Laura and John Arnold Foundation, where significant contributions were made to criminal justice technology initiatives, and as CTO of Huffington Post Media Group. Tim’s career at Google spans several roles, from software engineer to tech lead, where impactful projects included founding Google Checkout and leading the TV Ads initiative. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
