Tim Smith

Tim Smith is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google, where they focus on Pixel Camera Performance and System Health. They previously held the position of Staff Software Engineer at Google from 2014 to 2022 and served as President of GridCentric Inc. from 2009 to 2014, a company specializing in virtualization technology for cloud services. Tim began their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Hughes Network Systems from 1998 to 2000 and gained additional experience as a Member of Technical Staff at Broadband Storage from 2000 to 2002. They completed both their Honours B.S. and M.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, where they also worked as a Research Assistant from 2008 to 2009.
