Timothy Hykes

Timothy Hykes is an experienced Interaction Designer currently serving as Design Lead at Google, where Timothy has significantly improved the job search experience on Google Search. As co-founder and director of Design + Diversity, Timothy promotes diversity in the design industry through a dedicated conference. Prior roles include leading operations at World Wide Technology, achieving successful expansion and community impact, and enhancing user experiences at companies such as Caleres, Wells Fargo Advisors, and LaunchCode. Timothy's extensive background in design leadership is complemented by participation in initiatives with AIGA and facilitation of a design thinking workshop at the White House. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and an Associate in Applied Science in Graphic Communications from Saint Louis Community College-Florissant Valley.
