Toby Scales

Toby Scales has extensive experience in technology and information security, particularly within the media and entertainment sectors. Serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Google from December 2020 to October 2022, Toby focused on developing security guidance and solutions for content delivery. Prior to this, a role as a Senior Customer Engineer showcased expertise in DevOps and system architecture. As Technical Advisor and CTO at Vowlá, Toby contributed to transforming the wedding industry through innovative technology solutions. Other positions include Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect at Microsoft, Senior Infrastructure Architect at Omnicom Media Group, and Director of Technology & Business Development at Chelsea Computer. Toby holds a B.A. in Cinema Studies from the University of Washington, completed in 2005.
