Tom Kubik

Tom Kubik is an experienced professional in project management and technology development, currently serving as PM Lead for Search AI Mode development tooling at Google since January 2022. Achievements at Google include leading a team that significantly improved evaluation quality and turnaround time. Previously, Tom held the position of Research PM at Meta, where responsibilities included building AI/ML tooling for web-based data in support of the LLAMA model. Tom's earlier career at Barclays spanned roles from Vice President of Algorithmic Trading to Engineering Manager, contributing to algorithmic trading models and launching an Open Banking API. Tom began a career in technology as a Data Analyst at CAG and conducted PhD research on neural networks at Jagiellonian University, where Tom earned both an MSc and Ph.D. in Cognitive Science, alongside a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Cracow University of Economics.
