Tom Magrino

Tom Magrino is a software engineer at Google, specializing in distributed systems and infrastructure. They previously worked as a PhD engineering intern at Facebook, where they contributed to the Big Compute team in the Data Infrastructure group. Tom also holds extensive teaching experience from their time at the University of California, Berkeley, where they served as a lab assistant, teaching assistant, course reader, and lecturer for computer science courses. They earned a PhD in Computer Science from Cornell University, where they also worked as a graduate research assistant on distributed computing and programming languages.
