Tom Simpson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the corporate, commercial, and sports sectors. Beginning a career at Ashurst as a solicitor from March 1999 to September 2006, Tom transitioned to Sport & Entertainment Consulting Ltd as Business Affairs Manager, where strategic legal counsel was provided for high-profile sponsorship arrangements, including those involving David Beckham and Andy Murray. At Axiom from November 2010 to April 2012, Tom worked as an attorney on secondment with BSkyB and Vodafone Global Enterprise. Since 2017, Tom has served as Senior Legal Counsel at YouTube, Google, focusing on commercial and regulatory issues, particularly concerning sports rights and content deals. Currently, Tom is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Young Camden Foundation. Tom holds a Law degree from The University of Manchester and completed secondary education at Eton College.
