Tom Wollschläger

Tom Wollschläger is a skilled researcher and data scientist with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Previous roles include an AI Research Student at Helmholtz Zentrum München, where enhancements of clinical optoacoustic and ultrasound images were made using neural networks, and a part-time Data Scientist intern at ENLYZE GmbH. Tom's contributions to BMW Group involved temporal forecasting for mobility services using LSTM approaches. As a tutor and Ph.D. student at Technische Universität München, Tom focused on machine learning applications including graphs and quantum mechanics. Currently, Tom serves as an ML Research Scientist at Valence Labs, engaging in research on drug-like molecules and uncertainty estimation, and is also a Research Intern at Google Research since June 2025.
