Travis Beals

Travis Beals is an experienced professional in business operations and strategy, currently serving as Sr. Director at Google since June 2010, with previous roles including Director of Devices & Services Strategy and Hardware Strategy Principal. Prior to Google, Travis was a Business Operations and Strategy Principal at Bain & Company from 2008 to May 2010. Travis's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, where research focused on quantum computing and quantum computation, along with two pending patents. Additional research experience includes a visiting scholar position at the University of Calgary and undergraduate research at the University of Waterloo. Travis began the career as a software developer at Infowave.
