Troy Defty

Troy Defty is an experienced security professional with a strong background in consultancy and security engineering. Beginning a career at Deloitte Consulting from September 2012 to May 2014 as a Consultant, Troy progressed to roles including Lead Consultant at Context Information Security and Principal Consultant at Pure Hacking. From January 2020 to July 2020, Troy served as Managing Consultant at Pure.Security before taking on the role of Security Engineering Manager at Google in July 2020. With expertise in infrastructure and web application penetration testing, secure architecture design, and general security consultancy, Troy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science from Newcastle University, achieved with First Class honors.
