Tuan Phan

Tuan Phan is a highly skilled research scientist with extensive experience in wearables, data science, and machine learning. Tuan served as a Research Scientist at The Johns Hopkins University from February 2019 to October 2021, focusing on digital signal processing and machine learning applications. Currently, Tuan holds the position of Senior Research Scientist at Google, starting in October 2021, where responsibilities include developing algorithms and furthering advancements in ML/AI technologies. Prior to this, Tuan was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National University of Singapore from August 2016 to February 2019, specializing in MEMS sensors and real-time image and video processing. Tuan earned a Ph.D. in MEMS Sensors and Robotics from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore between 2011 and 2015.
