Uma Menon

Uma Menon is an experienced technology and engineering leader with a robust background in gaming and educational technology. A Development Director at Electronic Arts from July 2004 to April 2012, Uma contributed to popular titles such as Sims 2 to Sims 4, SimAnimals, and Sims Medieval, holding key roles including Engineering Lead and Art & Outsourcing Director. Following a tenure as Director of Engineering at Gooru, positions include Co-founder of RoundEd, Engineering Manager at GlassLab, Inc., and Director of Technical Program Management back at Electronic Arts from September 2016 to August 2020. Current role as TPM Lead at Google commenced in August 2020. Early career experience includes software engineering roles at Tata Elxsi, Cybernet Systems, and Unigraphics, with a focus on game authoring tools and visualization technology. Uma holds degrees in Computer Science from the University of Calicut, Computer Graphics from Columbia University, and completed a leadership program at MIT Sloan School of Management.
