Umber Ahmed

Umber Ahmed has built a diverse professional background with significant experience in program management and research. Starting as a Graduate Research Assistant at the California National Primate Research Center, Umber conducted non-human primate epigenetic behavioral research while providing administrative support and training interns on research methods. Moving on to the Bay Area Medical Academy, Umber served as a Public Funding Liaison, developing contracts for individual training grants and fostering partnerships with funding agencies. Since June 2016, Umber has worked as an Operations Program Manager at Google. Additionally, involvement with the American Medical Women's Association included representing initiatives related to gender and innovation on a national platform. Umber holds a BS in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
