Valerie Grillo

Valerie Grillo currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Google, overseeing the People Organization for multiple divisions including Search, Ads, and Commerce since October 2021. Prior to this role, Grillo held a series of senior positions at American Express, including Senior Vice President - Head of Market HR and Global Employee & Labor Relations, where responsibilities encompassed human capital strategy and diversity initiatives for more than 60,000 employees. Grillo's career includes notable roles at JPMorgan Chase, where talent management for top executives was a focus, and HR One, where product development for HR automation was led. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brown University.
