Van Tu

Van Tu is an experienced software developer and security architect with a strong background in designing and developing applications and security frameworks. Van Tu began a professional career at Sybase from April 2004 to May 2007, focusing on an online banking product suite. Following this, Van Tu worked at BlackBerry/Research In Motion from May 2007 to June 2010, specializing in security frameworks for the BlackBerry platform. Subsequently, Van Tu served as a Security Architect at Desire2Learn from February 2013 to January 2014 before joining Google in February 2014 as a Staff Software Developer. Van Tu's contributions include significant projects like BlackBerry Balance and the Smart Card Subsystem for BlackBerry 10. Van Tu holds a B. Math degree in Computer Science and Combinatorics & Optimizations from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2004.
