Vanessa July possesses a diverse background in both technical consulting and educational support. Starting as a Community Assistant at the University of Maryland Resident Life from August 2010 to December 2011, Vanessa provided essential support for residents and collaborated with university staff. This foundational experience was complemented by an undergraduate research role at Nie Lab, focusing on synthesizing and characterizing nanocrystals for energy and biomedical applications. Transitioning into the tech industry, Vanessa worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Server Solution Architect and Technical Solution Architect from April 2015 to August 2017, developing expertise in hybrid IT and enterprise solutions. Continuing this trajectory at Google, Vanessa served as a Cloud Customer Engineer and later took on the role of Strategic Cloud Advisor before becoming the Head of Professional Services for U.S. & Canada EDU.
