Varun Sood has extensive experience in strategic leadership and technology roles across various organizations. Starting a career at Compunnel Software Group as a Principal/Senior Consultant, Varun then transitioned to Ranbaxy, focusing on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation. Varun served as Group Technology Lead and Head of Strategic Partnerships at Fortis Healthcare, eventually taking on roles such as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Chief Information Officer. Following a tenure as Managing Director and CEO at HealthFore Technologies Limited, Varun became the CEO of Health and Medical at Motherson Group. Currently, Varun holds the position of Director for Global Strategic Initiatives at Google while also working as an independent advisor since 2018 and having founded drOmni.
