Vasco Ramos is an accomplished professional in the field of computer science, currently serving as a Scientific Researcher at Google since November 2023 within a partnership project focused on advancing video generation models. Previously, Vasco was a Graduate Student Researcher at NOVA Laboratory for Computer Science and Informatics from May 2023 to March 2025, contributing to research on conversational agents and multimodal models. Vasco also achieved 1st place as a team member in the Alexa Prize TaskBot Challenge 2 while at Amazon in 2023. As an educator, Vasco taught deep learning courses at both CMU Portugal Academy and NOVA FCT Executive Education. Vasco holds a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre, a Master’s degree from NOVA School of Science and Technology, and is pursuing a PhD at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
