Vedanth Iyer is an undergraduate researcher at Yale University, actively contributing to projects in the LILY Lab and Batista Lab. Currently focused on code-format proof generation using reinforcement learning for Llama 3 models since June 2024, Vedanth previously developed evaluation metrics to enhance code generation accuracy by LLMs. Earlier experience includes characterizing borophene growth for lithium-ion battery applications through Convolutional Neural Networks and molecular dynamics simulations. Following internships in software engineering at KBR, Inc. and Custom Health, Vedanth is set to begin a role as a software engineer at Google, working on YouTube. Vedanth holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science from Yale University, complemented by research at Caltech on next-generation battery materials.
