Venky Ramachandran

Venky Ramachandran is a seasoned software engineer and architect with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently at Google since 2012, Venky focuses on user modeling and app recommendations, having previously worked on search ads quality and infrastructure. Prior to Google, Venky held positions at Mentor Graphics as a P&R Architect, Calypto Design Systems as a Senior Architect developing a novel RTL power optimization product, and Cadence Design Systems as an Architect/Director leading development for a physical synthesis solution. Venky's earlier experience includes serving as a Principal Engineer at Ambit Design Systems. Venky holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan and a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
