Veronica Thompson is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience in design and brand strategy. Currently serving as an Associate Creative Director for Social Media at Google, Veronica leads a team to execute high-impact creative strategies for global developer channels. Prior to this role, Veronica held various positions at Newsela, including Head of Brand & Creative Services, where leadership of a diverse team produced agile branded creative to support marketing efforts. Earlier experiences encompass senior roles at Inkling, where Veronica developed internal design processes and managed brand design initiatives, as well as founding Veronica Thompson Design, a design studio that provided creative direction and development services. Veronica's career began with a fellowship in digital media design at Chronicle Books and is supported by an M.A. in Digital Publishing and Design from Emerson College and a B.A. in English from the University of Michigan.
