Viji Ranganna is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Director of Silicon Implementation Physical Design and CAD at Google since April 2022, Viji previously held the role of Senior Director of Engineering at Qualcomm from December 2008 to March 2022. Viji also has experience as a Senior Design Engineering Manager at LSI Logic and as a Staff Design Automation Engineer at Intel. Earlier roles include Sr. Applications Engineer at Avanti and Applications Engineer at Metasoftware. Viji Ranganna holds a mini MBA from Rutgers Business School and a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from South Dakota State University, along with additional education from Visvesvaraya Technological University, National College, and Bangalore University.
