Vinay Mitter

Vinay Mitter is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Director of Systems Performance at Google since April 2022. Previously, Vinay held the position of Sr Director of Engineering at Qualcomm from May 2001 to April 2022, focusing on chipset design quality and leading global cross-functional teams. Earlier roles include an internship at Eaton Corporation, where responsibilities included identifying technology roadmaps, and working as a Lighting Engineer at Philips Lighting, as well as serving as Engineer In Charge at Crompton Greaves. Vinay holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Stanford Certified Project Manager credential from Stanford University, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
